“How did you get the idea to work with concrete?”

I get asked this question all the time, and still each time I chuckle before I tell the story of how one river tubing adventure led to long nights of getting my hands dirty to produce shiny, smooth, cement objects that look nothing like the concrete outside. Mid-float, my friends and I found ourselves wishing we had an anchor so we could stop and enjoy the view. I thought - I got this. The next day I got to work on creating my own anchor using rope, concrete mix, and a protein powder container. The rest was history. Who knew saving a buck on an anchor would lead to such serendipity?
